Whether moving along the edge of a roofline or walking between columns on an I-beam at a construction site, these work-at-height situations require fall protection over a horizontal distance.
The use of temporary horizontal lifelines is a common application of fall protection for these and many other similar situations. At a glance, horizontal lifelines may have a simplistic appearance but are far more complex, requiring an elevated level of understanding, for those responsible for implementing these systems at the worksite. This half-day course educates students on the principles of selection, setup, usage, and care of temporary horizontal lifelines.
Participants will learn course content through a combination of direct instruction, workbook exercises, and a practical ‘hands-on’ installation workshop. Course participants are those who have a considerable understanding of fall protection systems and meet applicable regulatory requirements for oversight of these systems. The course material will provide students with an engaging and enjoyable learning environment.
